Margaret Grady

To Margaret's Family -
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. My memories of the Grady family go back a lot of years, as my siblings and I spent our youth in the same farm neghborhood as the Grady's. Neighbors were close at that time, with much sharing on threshing or haying work during the seasons. Your parents were a hardworking team.
I remember your mother as firm in her convictions and ever ready to give her well thoughtout opinions on many subjects. I appreciated her counsel. She will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all for the loss of your mother, but what a blessing it was to have had her for so many years. Margaret was for me a spiritual reminder of how important it is to keep faith going in ourselves and in all others. I always enjoyed my encounters with her....she had a way of making you feel energized, perhaps because of all the energy that she seemed always to possess. She will be missed.

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you for the loss of your Mother. We remember her as a fun loving, kind Christian woman, We have fond memories of being country neighbors and visiting your home as kids.

I am so sorry for your loss, Margaret led a good long life. I worked with her many times decorating the church. She always had a plan and was well prepared. I know the family will miss her greatly, her family was her pride and joy.
We have been out of town this week and were unable to attend the services. Again, our condolences to all the family.

Your mother stopped to see my mother in her later years many times and I know that she appreciated that very much as I did. Margret did not have to do that but that's just shows the kindness she possessed. It is such a small world. I would not have known about Margret's passing except for the relationship that my wife, Margie has with Gwen Ritchie, Margret's granddaughter, who is a customer of hers in Chicago.

Mom grew up across the road from the Gradys. We drove by the Grady home every time we went to town, and there was always someone outside to wave no matter how busy. Both Margaaret and Norbert always took time to visit at every opportunity. Then there were activities in common like farming,

Both Margaaret and Norbert always took time to visit at every opportunity. Then there were activities in common like farming, gardening, 4-H, and both men working on bridge construction when the interstate was built. Family was always the focus of their life! What great lifetime friends! Honest, hardworking, sharing, caring , loyal, poeple! What a blessing to have them in our community, neighborhood, and life! They will be remembered with love.

My memories of Margaret are of a fun loving woman who loved her visits to Connecticut to see Robert , Mara & Lilly with all the activities that they had and she was a willing participant. She always had a smile and a great story to share when we were together. Memories are the best gifts our parents give to us. Many the entire Grady family continue to have great memories and know what a wonderful woman your mother was.
