Camilla Jean (Carrigan) Sullivan was born November 13, 1944, to Harold and Nerna (Payne) Carrigan in Woodbine, Iowa. She was raised in the Woodbine area and then moved to Dunlap and graduated from Dunlap High School in 1963. Camilla then attended college in Cedar Falls, Iowa for three years. Camilla married Bill Sullivan in 1965. She worked in various places in Western Iowa before operating a night answering service for Harrison County Rural Electric Company and Fouts Funeral Home.

Camilla enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also loved to read and write.

Camilla died on December 24, 2011, at her home in Woodbine, at the age of 67 years, one month, and 11 days.

Camilla was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Sullivan; and sister, Patty Carrigan at the age of four. She is survived by her son, Leroy Dennis of Woodbine, Iowa; three grandchildren, Aaron, Nadia, and Dakota Dennis; brother, Charles Carrigan and his wife Darline of Dunlap, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
