Donald "Buster" Holloway was born April 10, 1926, to John and Vera (Stuck) Holloway in Harrison County, Missouri. Buster moved with his parents and six siblings to Dunlap, Iowa in the 1930s. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years at Simpson's in the State of Washington. Donald retired to Woodbine and then entered the Dunlap Specialty Care Assisted Living in 2016.

Donald enjoyed traveling, flying remote controlled planes and boating.

Donald died on Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, Iowa at the age of 91years, eight months, and 12 days.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy, two brothers, Merle Holloway and John Holloway; and four sisters, Nellie Russianno, Maxine Elliott, Ruth Summerfield and Margaret Holloway. He is survived by two step daughters and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
