Condolence & Memory Journal

Sandy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with him from the time he transferred from Western Electric to AT&T til he left for Atlanta. He was really a great guy and helped me a lot both at work and at some projects at home. I am sad that I didn't know you had moved back to CB. I would have liked to have seen him.

Jim and I were neighbors and good friends through high school. We shared the same locker for all four years in high school. I have many fond memories of Jim. My sincere condolences to Jim's wife and children, Hazel and Sheryl and the entire family.

Hazel, Sandra, Shelley, Joe and Allie - I have such wonderful, warm memories of Jim! When I close my eyes I see his big infectious smile, that impossibly fetching mustache (seriously - no one ever wore a better mustache!) and the impish glint in his eyes. And when I think of him, I feel his immense kindness and humor and love for his family. Thoughts of him make me smile - and always will. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with you. But know that here in New York, Daphne and Rex and I are keeping him - and all of you - in our hearts. Much love, Laura

My Uncle Jim was one of the funniest and caring people I have ever met. He always had a joke to make you laugh and was always up for a good time. He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Jim was one of the funniest men I have ever know. Growing up, he would joke and laugh with me all the time. We would cruise around in my parents van singing to oldies and craking jokes. He brought so much love and light into the world and he will be greatly missed.
