Pam and family -
I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. What a great guy! I have memories of your first years together - remember Pam and I painting your bedroom at Dunham apartments :>). I don't think much paint made it on the walls if I recall correctly.
For a number of years, I didn't go out much when in Dunlap and many didn't recognize me when I did. Not Joe - he always remembered me and spoke and

I have had the pleasure of coming to know Joe over the last 5 months. He had a tremendous sense of humor and an energetic and joyful sparkle in his eyes even through challenging medical problems. May he rest in peace.

Dear Pam & the entire Heller Clan,
I can't tell you how sad I was to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was loved by so many. And for those of us who moved out of the Dunlap community, coming home meant a trip to the Gold Slipper not only to eat wonderful food, but mostly just to visit with Joe for a laugh or two. He was always so welcoming. His smiling face, quick wit, and enduring love for his

Pam, Kathleen and family my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. Joe gave me a job many years ago, and I learned then I would be grateful for the education. Your family and mine have been intertwined for as long as I have been around. God bless you all.

To the Heller family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Joe was always so funny. I know that when Joe & Pam ran the Gold Slipper, my dad really enjoyed going down there on Saturday evenings to play clockers. I remember the time when I was teaching Stacie swimming lessons and we convinced Michelle to jump off the high diving board. It was a proud moment for Joe!
With Kindest Regards,

We're so sorry and saddened to hear of the loss of Joe. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire Heller family.

I grew up just down the road from the Heller's and spent a lot of time at their home. When I was there I was treated just like one of the family. Joe was there to tease all of us girls when he wasn't out shooting baskets. But Joe was always such a great guy, friendly and always right there to help if you needed anything. This is such a loss, my thoughts are with the family right now. Know that Joe will always be there in your hearts.
I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am sad to hear of Joe's passing...he was such a nice person. I will always remember how much he loved basketball and what a great bb player he was! Enjoyed seeing him at the Slipper in later years. I know he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all throughout this difficult time.
