Had so much fun with the Pauley Family, Janssen Family, Kirschbaum Famiy, and Gau Family. Enjoyed Family Holiday dinners at Chris and Anna Gau house in Defiance Iowa. Grandma Gau used to make the bread buns and let them rise by the stove in the living room. Uncle Ralph used to deliver Standard Gas to my Dads farm. Family was listening to Grandpa Gau, Veronica, an my Mom play the accordions. Lately it was Aunt Veronica and Shirley that played

Another great one gone from us from the best generation ever. A dear aunt who always had a smile and a good word to say. May Aunt Veronica have a blessed happy reunion in heaven with Uncle Ralph and her children. May her soul rest in peace. Rosalie

So sorry for you loss! I remember the great times we had when she would come into the Dairy Sweet, a lovely lady! Thinking of you all!

My sympathy to all of Veronica's family. I have many happy memories of our family visits to the Iowa Gau cousins. I thought of Mom and her Iowa counsins as double cousins, because their Moms were sisters and their Dads were brothers. We enjoyed lots of card games, music, great food, and listening to our parents tell stories of the good old days. My Mom died in April 2017, so she was among many of the Gau family to welcome

We're thinking of you and saying a prayer for the family. Jeff & I went to school together and I always remember Veronica's kindness and smile. I'm glad I was able to talk with her several times the past couple of years at Rose Vista.
With heartfelt thoughts, Katie & Steve Jensen

Aunt Veronica was my godmother and I also took her name as my confirmation name.

I will always remember that she always had a smile to share, her enjoyment of playing the accordion. Also the times her sister, Gertrude, my mom, would talk of their times they spent talking to one another, when they would share a bed, on her numerous visits over the years, to wee hours of the morning. I always wondered if they got any sleep?

Although I

Ron, Don, Shirley, Ralph Jr and Jeff: So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. What a beautiful lady she was. Thank you for sharing her with us. Our many memories of her and your family will be forever treasured. I can only imagine the celebrating in Heaven with the Gau family. May God Bless you at this time and always.

Veronica was always a lady of grace and quiet demeanor. One of my first memories about Veronica was a bunch of nieces and nephews singing "Back From Oakdale How do you do" when she returned from here bout with TB. Dad always said that he bought the second crib for Ralph and Veronica when both Ron and Don showed up. I don't know if this is true or not. I wish all of you my sincere sympathy and hope you
