Howard Johnson was a memorable guy and one you want to remember. There was surely a melody and a rhyme throughout his long life. I remember most he and Phyllis in the choir at Zion in the summer of 1966 when I was a summer vicar there He did bulldozing for my dad. There was always a smile of greeting and faith without apology. God bless you all as you carry on the legacy you have received and may the strong Word he so often sang and penned comfort you and lead you.

Margie and Kim -- how sad to hear about your dad's passing. I remember many 4H activities at your home and hearing your dad sing as he entered the kitchen. His singing was a welcomed distraction as we took a break from our projects or our meetings.
Warmest sympathy,

Sorry for your lost Howard & PJ were some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Howard once wrote me a poem about being his angel upstairs and now he is the angel upstairs. RIP Howie

Kim, John, Kory and Rachel,
It saddens my heart to see of the passing of your father Kim. Like we talked when I saw you recently, I will NEVER forget his beautiful voice and his love for singing God's word. His passion will remain in my heart.
Saying prayers for strength and faithfulness through this difficult time.

Kim and all of Howard's family,

We acknowledging that a death can bring with it mixed emotions; sadness yet relief, regret yet hope, the emptiness of departure yet the joy of reunion, questioning yet peace. Please know that we are thinking of you and that you continue in our prayers.

Sorry to hear of Your fathers passing. We knew him and became friends with him a few years before he moved from Logan. He was a great man. I even had the honor of typing up some of his poems, 35 of them! I looked on the computer and I still have them! If you would like, I could print them out for you. He was very sweet and will be missed by many!
